The third day and night of our trip was also spent in Dublin before moving out into the more rural areas. We spent most of the day, however, at Howth, a northern suburb.

Grey Seal One of the highlight surprises of the trip, this seal popped up in the harbor, followed by several others.
Jackdaw We saw these everywhere we went in Ireland, though I had never seen one before.
Ireland's Eye Rock formations at the end of Ireland's Eye, an island a mile north of Howth Harbor.
Howth Lighthouse The old lighthouse, no longer operational.
Seal, Howth A grey seal swimming in the harbor.
Masts, Howth A large number of masts from boats moored in the harbor. The old Howth Lighthouse and the newer Howth Light can be seen in the background.
Life Saver, Howth Pier A life saver on the pier.
Pied Wagtail An excitable little bird that gets its name from the way it pumps its tail up and down.
Rock Formation, Howth A very pretty and large rock formation on the shoreline as viewed from a cliff above the town.
Harbor at Howth The harbor as viewed from a cliff above the town. The old Howth Lighthouse and the operational Howth Light are visible just behind the last of the boats.
Vandals A group of boys taking a sledgehammer to a graffiti-covered building.
Abbey Howth Cemetery Cemetery next to the ruins of the 12th century Abbey Howth, with a mix of old and new stones.
Side Street, Howth A residential street leading down the hill. In the distance behind the houses is the island, Ireland's Eye.
Red Building with Palm A beautiful red residence. It surprised us to see palm trees in Ireland.
Garden Flower It seems that everyone in Ireland has gardens. This flower was in a small garden on the side of a hill.

Moon Jellyfish Another surprise of the trip I found this jellyfish washed up on Claremont Beach.

Universal Links on Human Rights Sculpture by Tony O'Malley, it was commissioned by Amnesty International in 1995. It is situated across from the main bus station in Dublin.
Mannequins at Night These were in a storefront window with a shade pulled down and graffiti over the covering.
Kissers and Passersby A couple kissing behind a bus as a trio of men passes.
