The sixth day started back at the Coach House Bed & Breakfast near Waterford. We went from there to explore a few things in the southeastern part of Ireland, with the intention of arriving and staying in Ardmore by late afternoon or early evening. Ardmore was the home of my great-great grandfather, Augustine, if not my great-grandfather, James. James was born in Ireland and moved to America with his older brother and mother within his first year. His father, Augustine, had left in advance of the rest of the family. Along the way to the ancestral home we stopped at Jerpoint Abbey and Kilkenny.
